Let’s take you on the Tour de France 2022 opening stage through Copenhagen city which was the route that the professional participants of the Tour cycled on July 1st.
We will stop along the route to have a closer look at the highlights that we pass and your guide will entertain you about the historic and fun facts about the areas and sights on our way.
After the tour we will stop for a drink and a bite to eat in an authentic Danish setting.

- The Citadel
- The Black Diamond, the iconic modern extention of our Royal Library
- The Circle Bridge, designed by the Danish/Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson
- The Inner Harbour Bridge, the cycling and pedestrian bridge that connects the inner city with the historic area of Christianshavn
- Christiansborg Palace, home of the Danish Parliament, the Royal Reception Rooms and Supreme Court
- Amalienborg Palace, the winter residence of our royal family
- The Old Stock Exchange
Practical information
Tour duration: Ca. 3 hours + optional time at cafe after the bike ride.
Tour length: Ca. 13 km
Tour level: Easy
Tour velocity: Comfortable pace. We will cycle on cycle lanes/small quiet streets, and in so far as possible on paths away from the traffic.
Bikes: Bring your bike or rental can be arranged.
Tour start/end: Copenhagen city area.
Important information before you go:
- You must be able to ride a bike before joining the tour
- Please wear clothes and shoes appropriate for the weather on the day of the bike tour.

Not included: Bike rental, rent of helmets.

- Upon request a guided tour of Rosenborg Castle and/or Christiansborg Palace can be included, which will influence the duration and price of the tour.
