The Danish Riviera and National Park of Royal North Zealand

Explore North Zealand

A full day tour by train and bike

On this guided day tour you will visit North Zealand, famous for its beautiful coastline and charming fishing villages, lovely sandy beaches and views to Sweden across the Øresund.

North Zealand is also synonymous with the historic  Kronborg Castle (Helsingør/Elsinore), a UNESCO World Heritage site, and Frederiksborg Castle (Hillerød) – and you will get to see both on this day tour.

You will also be cycling through the Nationalpark Royal North Zealand where Danish kings in the 17th and 18th centuries would demonstrate their power and sovereignty during their par force hunting games.

Along the route we will stop to enjoy our lunch and on the Danish Riviera we will stop to taste the famous Gilleleje Is – probably the best homemade ice cream you have ever tasted.
