Copenhagen Walking and Food Tour

Explore Copenhagen medieval town and taste Danish specialities

Embark on a delightful 4-hour walking tour of cozy, old Copenhagen where you’ll visit three spots to sample local specialities, including the famous Smørrebrød, Danish hotdogs and pastries.

The tour starts in the Latin Quarter with its small quaint streets, making your way to the Round Tower. This 17th century observatory offers panoramic views of the city from its top floor.

Next, wander through the picturesque alleys to indulge in traditional Danish Smørrebrød with a twist, paired with a Danish snaps and a Danish beer.

Continue your stroll past the impressive Christiansborg Palace, home to the Danish Parliament and Royal Reception Rooms, before passing the enchanting Rosenborg Castle, once the Summer residence and love nest of our King Christian 4th in the 1600s.

After a relaxing stop for coffee and pastry, your tour will end at Nyhavn, one of Copenhagen’s most iconic landmarks. This vibrant harbour area, lined with colorful houses, is a favorite spot year round, for both locals and visitors, loved for its charm and Danish “hygge” environment.

Throughout the tour you will gain insider knowledge of Copenhagen’s food culture, everyday life, history and stories that only a local expert can provide.
